Chippewa Falls is an ideal vacation destination and we welcome you to visit our beautiful city. During your visit to Chippewa Falls you will have a chance to enjoy NATURE, the area HISTORY, RECREATION, ARTS & CULTURE, and most importantly have FUN doing it all!

If all of this has left you wanting a breath of fresh air get out and enjoy NATURE. Stop at the a local park, the rose and lily garden, Mac’s Berry Farm, John McIlquham Orchard/Autumn Harvest Winery, Klinger Farm Market, River Bend Vineyard & Winery and with four square miles of apple orchards there is an apple for everyone. The city is also home to Casper Park and Lake Hallie Park, great facilities for baseball and softball events throughout the summer.

Chippewa Falls has a rich HISTORY that can be seen and felt while visiting the Chippewa County Historical and Genealogical Society, Chippewa Falls Museum of Industry & Technology, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company, Mason Shoe and more!

Enjoy a day of RECREATION on the Old Abe State Trail or spend an afternoon at the 300-acre Irvine Park & Zoo. Bring your fishing pole to Lake Wissota, 6300 acres of the finest fishing the Northwoods has to offer, relax as you sail its’ waters, or take a dip at Ray's Beach. Canoeists and kayakers can also enjoy a leisurely float down the Chippewa River or Lake Hallie, a 79-acre body of water. And for a completely different point of view of the city take to the skies at Skydive Wissota.

Take a tour of the Cook-Rutledge Mansion for a bit of our ARTS & CULTURE or attend a performance at the beautifully restored Heyde Center for the Arts.

Don’t forget the FUN at one of our many festivals from the Leinie Lodge Family Reunion, the Northern Wisconsin State Fair, Pure Water Days, Oktoberfest to the Irvine Park Christmas Village, and many more.

After taking in all the sites, be sure to let your appetite lead you to one of our local restaurants. Whether it’s dining in historic downtown or at a restaurant on Lake Wissota you won’t be disappointed and won’t leave hungry.
